How to change the URL structure in wp_list_categories for site wide categories tags

In /wp-includes/category-template.php change every line with >> href=”‘
In the classes.php file around line 587 make the same appropriate changes to >> a href”‘
This is useful if you’re hosting multiple wordpress subdomain installs and you want to retain the same base URL for the category tags ie site wide categories or tags
